Personally, I think one of the biggest problems in life that causes you to NOT be happy or achieve your goals is LACK OF ENERGY and basically, being tired all the time.

If you had more energy,

youโ€™d get more work doneโ€ฆ
youโ€™d exercise moreโ€ฆ
youโ€™d get MORE out of your relationshipsโ€ฆ youโ€™d socialize more, play with your kids, have more fun on the weekends, etc.
youโ€™d be more productive in life and thus…

Youโ€™d be happier at the end of the each day because you had a FULL day!

In fact, one of the biggest complaints people have when it comes to their health is, โ€œlack of energyโ€.

And this is why the most used and ABUSED drug on the planet is caffeine!

This is why beverages such as coffee, tea and โ€œenergyโ€ drinks are the biggest money-makers — everyone is drinking them to start AND get through their days.

In fact, people donโ€™t even see caffeine as a drug. They think itโ€™s just a โ€œsupplementโ€.

So โ€œenergy drinksโ€ and โ€œenergy supplementsโ€ are just another delivery mechanism for caffeine.

In the old days, people would just take straight caffeine pills such as No-Doz or Vivarin.

Itโ€™s cheap and effective and yes, this is what I would do when I was younger to get through my long days at work and medical school.

I mean, it was like 6-7 days a week of 12-14 hour days. It was horrible.
But I didnโ€™t know how else to get through the day.

When youโ€™re young, your body can take the abuse.

Unfortunately, over time I noticed
I got fatter,
my sleep was horrible,
I was irritable all the time,
my sex drive was lower,
I was losing muscle

and worse of all, I was still TIRED all the time after the INITIAL energy โ€œhighโ€ from the caffeine.

In fact, after a while I needed the caffeine just say โ€œnormalโ€. I wasnโ€™t even getting energized anymore.

And THIS is the problem with caffeine! — Your body quickly adapts after a few days or weeks.

Your adrenal glands get burned out and you have โ€œadrenal fatigueโ€.

Your stress hormones such as Cortisol goes sky-high, which causes negative imbalances with all of your โ€œyouthโ€ hormones.

Thus,
your testosterone dropsโ€ฆ
your thyroid and metabolism slows downโ€ฆ
your insulin levels go upโ€ฆ
you have high blood pressureโ€ฆ
your dopamine levels (your happy neurotransmitter) and receptors donโ€™t work very well

and the end result is accelerated aging!

Both physically AND mentally.

And, this is what happened to me!

So, I had to find a safe and long-term solution.

The first thing I did was slowly get off anything with caffeine.

I did NOT do this โ€œcold-turkeyโ€ or abruptly because caffeine is a drug. Your body is addicted to it, no differently than cocaine.

In fact, cocaine was the original ingredient in Coca-Cola

When cogaine became illegal, they needed to find a โ€œlegalโ€ alternative and thatโ€™s when Coca-Cola switched over to caffeine!

Anyway, as I was getting off the caffeine, I started using natural herbs to help FIX my bodies caffeine-induced problems.

I had to fix the 7 energy pathways, which I discuss in a link below in the description area.

And this was:
Improving Dopamine levels — which improves your mood and cognition.
Reducing Stress Hormones (Cortisol) — which reducing aging.
Increase Mitochondria — which increases energy to every cell in your body.

    Kind of weird cons at some point ? I mean it's also "scientifically" proven that black coffee in moderation and smart usage isn't necessarily bad for your health, could you link the studies or smth.

    Dr. Sam Robbins, I have high blood pressure and drink two or three cups of brewed coffee . Do you think is it enough to get my adrenal glands burned out? I used to drink much coffee and now I just drink two or three cups.

    Dr. Sam Robbins ! Good afternoon sir; I'm 24 yrs & been suffering from knee meniscus tear type 3 ! It was a gym injury while doing thigh exercise 2 years ago! Homeopathy treatment is going on from last one year and I've restored and recovered almost 60% of normal knee! Can you share dietary supplement or food or any herbs which increase time of healing ? Or Decrease swelling in knee? I'm done with all Neurosurgeon to local M.B.B.S no one is worthy to give right suggestion! Kindly help!

    I'm interested in your supplements, but they're kinda expensive. 30 pills per container and u have to take 2 each day, that means that they are gonna last 15 days for one bottle or even less if you take more… this is not sustainable unless you're kinda wealthy.

    DR.ROBBINS I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS…..THANKS A TON FOR MAKING THESE VIDEOS.
    Can you advise me on something….. The question is that i am addicted to black coffee as a preworkout….and it brings out performance undoubtedly… Is it ok if i just drink it as a preworkout thats it and relay on green tea in the morning?

    I have been drinking coffee a lot around 4 cups a day . Does quit drinking coffee will reverse the side effects caused by caffeine
